About

Luxi existed to brighten lives through enquiry-led creative experiences 💡

Our work

We PRODUCE, COMMISSION and PRESENT rigorous and inspiring arts and theatre with artists and audiences.

We’re known for EVENTS and FESTIVALS (especially pop-up and site- specific) that connect with audiences and people’s relationships with place.

We bring together teams of ASSOCIATE creatives specific for each project and frequently support trainees, mentees and interns.

We’ve won awards for PROGRAMMING using a style we’ve developed involving friendship-first engagement and we’re delighted when people ask us to share tips or help them understand how they can use this.

People at a stage of transition are often drawn to our work that at its core helps people find authentic connections and their new stories.

We value

Welcoming ACCESS for everyone

WELLBEING for people and the planet

Why Luxi?

The lux is the unit for measuring illuminance and luminous emittance, one lux has the light level of a single candle; we believe in simple, effective projects that, like light, have a radiant effect.  As curious people, we also love that luxi is sometimes pronounced as look-see here in the north of England.

Collaborate with us

We enjoyed exploring new ideas and connections, working with allsorts of brilliant people and ideas.
