Each of our events and projects is supported in different ways, through partnerships and through funding primarily.

Currently our main project is the Jabberwocky Market events which are part of the Collaborative Touring Network with Battersea Arts Centre, supported with funding from Arts Council England, Esmee Fairbairn Foundation and Garfield Weston Foundation.

We deliver the events through partnerships with local organisations and venues, currently Polam Hall School, Darlington Markets, Greenfield Community College and Darlington Quakers.

The project is supported on an ongoing basis by local businesses Kimberley Caravans and Be Premiere Hair.

Our Line 2018 was a pilot theatre on trains project that we delivered with Hannah Bruce & Co, and train company Northern, and additional support from University of York.

(This page is under construction, more funders and supporters still to be credited, thanks for your patience).

PIF Tickets

A HUGE Thank You to some of the people who have kindly bought Pay It Forward tickets and therefore supported others to attend Jabberwocky Market events:

S Hall, R Chapman, Farnaby Turf, various anonymous.

If you would like to do the same, simply buy one or more £10 PIF tickets and we’ll do the rest. After making the booking, you can choose to be thanked or not.

On some projects we work with volunteers and their time and enthusiasm is an invaluable support to enable life-brightening projects to happen. Feedback says the experience also brightens the volunteers lives. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us on to discover what opportunities we have available.

Business sponsorship

Many of our projects lend themselves to mutually beneficial partnership with businesses, sometimes with cash support and often in-kind. As well as those mentioned elsewhere on this page, over recent years these have included: La Di Da magazine, J&B Farnaby Turf, Teesside University, Inside Out Nightclub, Urban & Civic developments, Hole in the Wall pub, The Pennyweight pub, Mercure Kings Hotel, Voodoo Cafe, Courvoisier, Darlington Farmers Auction Mart, Pernod Ricard, Darlington Boxing & Martial Arts Academy.
